06 officers & personnel of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have been awarded with the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Police Medal for Meritorious Service on the occasion of Independence Day-2018.

Sub Inspector/Radio Operator, Virbhan Singh has been awarded with President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service in recognition of his selfless services. Shri Ravi Kumar Commandant, Shri G. Vijayan Deputy Commandant, Shri Goura Shankar Patel Assistant Commandant, Sub Inspector Janardan Singh and Assistant Sub Inspector Nand Kishore have been awarded with Police Medal for Meritorious Service in recognition to their outstanding services.

So far, 08 NDRF personnel have been awarded with President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and 53 with the Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
