NDRF‟S WIVES WELFARE ASSOCIATION (SANJIVANI) ORGANISED A FETE IN GHAZIABAD, UTTAR PRADESH

Today, a Fete was organised by NDRF under the aegis of NWWA (NDRF Wives Welfare Association) „Sanjeevani‟ at Ghaziabad. All NDRF field formations took part in this occasion. This fete provided a unique platform, wherein NDRF personnel from various parts of the country put up unique Arts, Artefacts and Handicrafts from all over the country for display and sale. The one day fete also exhibited latest disaster response equipment invariably used by the Force for disaster response. The fete arena had also put up food courts which offered delicious Multi-Cuisines from all over the India. The cultural programmes organised by NDRF personnel of various field formations as well as canine show the also attracted viewers.

Indian Cinema’s comedy king and great actor Sh. Asrani and Indian Olympian wrestler Sh. Yogeshwar Dutt graced the occasion as special invitees and applauded NDRF for their humanitarian work at the time of crisis.

President of the association, Smt. Neelam Singh, who is the wife of Sh. O.P.Singh, DG, NDRF intimated that it will help its members to attain their full potential, and thereby, empower them to contribute in a positive way to the growth of organisation as well as their family and society.

Sh. O.P. Singh, DG, NDRF expressed his gratitude to the “Sanjeevani” as well as its member for this initiative and said that organisation of such fete will really encourage NWWA as well as NDRF to work for their betterment.
