NDRF RESCUED 14 PERSONS IN RAJASTHAN

Date 25th July, 2017 Time 1500 Hrs

Today, information was received that many people are trapped in flood water at Village- Dhansa, Tehsil Sayala, District Jalore, Rajasthan.

On getting information from local administration, NDRF team deployed at Jalore, Rajasthan immediately rushed to the spot. Due to heavy rain fall all the approaching road to Village Dhansa were cut off. Some villagers have taken shelter on tree etc, These could not be airlifted directly as the airflow of helicopter blades could have made them to fall from tree and wash away. So the NDRF team was airdropped to nearby place and then NDRF rescued the people using boats.

NDRF team evacuated 14 people and some goats.
