FLOOD RESCUE OPERATION BY NDRF

Flood rescue and relief operation by NDRF in various flood prone areas across the country is continue where heavy rainfall created flood like situations and disturbed normal life. NDRF teams are relentlessly engaged to assist the respective administration in rescue and relief work.
One team of NDRF is operational at Teh- Kusalgarh, Distt- Baswada, Rajsthan where SDM of Kusalgarh, Sh. Rameshvardayal Meena swept away while crossing the rainy stream, yesterday.
One team is operational in Bihar at Kosi Bridge, Distt- Supaul in connection with drowning of a person.
One team of NDRF deployed in Hyderabad carried out search operation at Chandrayan Gutta, Distt- Hyderabad in connection with drowning of persons and retrieved the body of victim.
One team each is operational at Distt- Sundernagar and Distt Jamnagar, Gujarat where incessant rainfall created flood like situation.
Besides, Yesterday, NDRF teams deployed at Deoghar, Jharkhand provided medical assistance to 85 sick and needy persons.
DG, NDRF is monitoring the situation and touch with other agencies and stakeholders for further development of situation.
