04 NDRF personnel awarded with Police Medal For Meritorious Service on the occasion of Republic Day-2022

Officers & personnel of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have been awarded with the prestigious ‘Police Medal for Meritorious Service’ on the occasion of Republic Day-2022.

The Police Medal for Meritorious Service is awarded to the personnel of Central police and security organization who have completed minimum service of 18 years. The medal is awarded to personnel for their commendable work whether operational or administrative. Shri V.V.N. Prasanna Kumar, Commandant, Shri Begraj Meena, Deputy Commandant, Shri Subash Chand, Assistant Commandant (Office) and Inspector Kishan Ram have been awarded with the ‘Police Medal for Meritorious Service’ in recognition to their outstanding services.

So far 11 NDRF Officers/personnel have been awarded with President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and 84 personnel with Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
