On 10.04.2022, a Malfunction/ breakage in Rope of Ropeway takes place at Trikut Hills where some persons fell down from the rope way and got injured. 22 trollies stranded on ropeway out of which some persons were stuck in 10 trollies. Person’s stucked in 10 trollies near start and end point were evacuated. On intimation, 02 NDRF teams of 09 Bn NDRF mobilized towards incident site and joined the on-going ops. NDRF rescued 57 persons and retrieved 03 dead bodies.
Details are as follows:

• On 10.04.2022, 11 persons were rescued and 01 dead body retrieved by all agencies including 01 female rescued by NDRF.
• On 11.04.2022, 32 persons rescued (in which 21 have been rescued with the help of Helicopter) and 01 dead body retrieved.
• On 12.04.2022, 14 persons rescued and 01 female fell down accidently in the process of rescue and succumbed to her injuries.
