On 6th August, 2020, a massive landslide occurred at Pettimudi near Munnar, Distt-Idukki, Kerala in which several persons were reported missing. Immediately, after getting the information, 02 NDRF teams were mobilised for the incident site. Teams conducted joint search and rescue operation from 07.08.2020 to 26.08.2020 along with other rescue agencies and retrieved a total 65 dead bodies (NDRF-48 dead bodies & other agencies-17dead bodies).
