Rescue Operation – Boat Capsize Incident in River Ganga

One team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) was mobilized to the incident site following a boat capsize incident in the River Ganga caused by a collision between two boats. At the time of the incident, 06 passengers were reported to be on board the civilian boat. The NDRF Rescue Team immediately commenced Search and Rescue (SAR) operations in coordination with local authorities and riverine support agencies. During the operation, the team successfully rescued 01 person alive, while 05 persons managed to save themselves prior to the arrival of rescue teams.
