Duration : 14/09/2015 to 15.09.2015 and 18/09/2015 to 22.09.2015Achievement : Teams rescued 02 persons live.

One team of NDRF already deployed at Una for Famex left for village Baloh near Kiratpurchowk Bilaspur at 14/09/2015 at 1630 hrs in connection with missing of 03 persons due to tunnel collapse .Team reached incident site at 2015 hrs. On 15/09/2015, team started Searcg and Rescue (SAR) operation on 15/09/2015 at 0730 hrs. Team closed ops at 1700 hrs, and returned to its Famex location Una HP.

Again on 18.09.2015 same team from Una famex site and one team from BHQ under supervision of Commandant 07 Bn NDRF left for village Baloh near Kiratpurchowk Bilaspur to conducted SAR ops.
On 21/09/2015 team evacuated 02 victims ManiRam and Satish Kumar, through a 1.3m-wide and 40m-deep vertical tunnel .

First “channel of communication” was established with Mani Ram and Tomar, who responded when a tiny camera and microphone was dropped down the tunnel.

Then at 9.21 am, NDRF rescuer Naresh Pal, went down but he hit a 2-ft block that could not be removed even with a gas cutter. On Pal’s advice, the heavy driller was pressed back into action to clear the cement and steel.

Then second NDRF rescuer, Ashok Kumar Samota, was drop down using ropes around 3.15 pm .Within short time the victims were taken out.
