Rescue Operation – Avalanche Incident

Four teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), along with 04 trained canines, were mobilized to the incident site following an avalanche incident in a high-altitude and snowbound area.
Upon arrival, the NDRF Rescue Teams immediately initiated intensive Search and Rescue (SAR) operations under extreme weather conditions and challenging terrain.
Using specialized avalanche rescue equipment and canine support, the teams conducted systematic search efforts in the affected zone.
During the course of the operation, the teams successfully retrieved 06 deceased bodies from the avalanche debris.
