Rescue Operation – Coal Mine Incident

One team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) was mobilized to the incident site following a coal mine accident in which 09 persons were reported trapped inside the mine. Upon deployment, the NDRF Rescue Team initiated intensive and prolonged Search and Rescue (SAR) operations under hazardous underground conditions. The operation involved systematic search procedures, continuous dewatering, debris clearance, and coordination with local authorities and technical experts. During the course of the operation, the team successfully retrieved 09 deceased bodies from the coal mine.
