Rescue Operation – Five-Storey Building Collapse

Three teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), along with 02 trained canines, were mobilized to the incident site following the collapse of a five-storey building in which 20 persons were reported trapped under the debris. Upon arrival, the NDRF Rescue Teams immediately initiated intensive and round-the-clock Search and Rescue (SAR) operations under highly challenging and hazardous conditions. Using technical search equipment, canine support, and systematic debris removal procedures, the teams successfully rescued 06 persons alive and retrieved 05 deceased bodies during the course of the operation.
