NDRF RESCUED 2 PERSONS IN PALAKKAD, KERALA

Dated 2nd August, 2018 Time: 1700 Hrs

02 persons rescued alive by NDRF who were trapped deep inside the debris of a three storey building which came crashing down in Kerals’s Palakkad town, today. The G+2 commercial building was in the middle of city that houses shops and hotel. 09 injured persons have already been evacuated by other stakeholders to nearby hospitals before arrival of NDRF team. Few others are still reported to be trapped under the rubble.

Two NDRF teams are conducting non-stop rescue operations with due care and diligence. NDRF teams have rescued 02 persons so far. Operation is still underway.

A 24x7 NDRF control room in Delhi is closely monitoring the situation.
