52 flood rescue teams of NDRF are deployed in various states viz 01 team in Arunachal Pradesh, 17 in Assam, 05 in Bihar, 05 in Gujarat, 01 in Himachal Pradesh, 01 in Jharkhand, 02 in Madhya Pradesh, 01 in New Delhi, 01 in Punjab, 09 in Uttar Pradesh, 03 in Uttrakhand and 06 teams in West Bengal in connection with Monsoon deployment and  to respond in any type of emergency situations. All teams are equipped with boats, divers and other flood rescue related equipment.

Assam:- 01 flood rescue team of NDRF propositioned at Dhemaji in Assam, conducted rescue and relief operation at Vill- Laimekuri Distt-Dhemaji, where  water logging took place due to increasing of water level in tributary river Laali of Brahmaputra river. NDRF team evacuated 37 persons to safer places.

Tripura:- 01 Flood Rescue team of NDRF has been deployed in Sub division Sadar (West Tripura) where the low lying areas of the division  submerged due to rising of water in river Hoara. NDRF team conducted rescue and relief operation and evacuated 520 persons to safer place. Operation is still continue.

West Bengal:- Due to heavy rainfall the flood like situation occurred in low lying parts of Alipurdwar, NDRF has mobilized 02 flood rescue teams from its Base HQ-West Bengal to counter the flood like situations. 

Besides, NDRF teams also distributed relief materials in Sub division-Ghattal, West Mednipur (West Bengal) and Vill-  Tulapur, Bharaich (Uttar Pradesh). 

A 24X7, NDRF control room in Delhi is closely monitoring the situation and is in touch with other agencies to provide prompt response in any type of emergency.
