NDRF ESTABLISHED SHELTER AT J.P.N APEX TRAUMA CENTRE (AIIMS), NEW DELHI

National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), the standalone highly dedicated disaster response Force of the country mandated to launch specialised disaster response across the nation and abroad, has proved its mettle in the field of disaster management by rescuing many precious lives. Besides its mandated task of disaster response, Force provides every possible help to the needy victims during disaster or in normal situation as well.
Now with the motto of “We Care..”, NDRF Wives Welfare Association has taken initiatives to establish “Shelter” for all needy people who are accompany the patients at the premises of J.P.N. Apex Trauma Centre (AIIMS), New Delhi w.e.f 20st November, 2016. The Shelter have the capacity of 30 beds, prepared by Portable Shelters and can be used by the attenders of the patients. This will helpful to the relatives of patients to get the secure & safe accommodation during this winter season which is in utmost need for a patients coming from other states to get the treatment in Trauma Centre. The programme was inaugurated by the President of NDRF Wives Welfare Association Smt. Nita Pachnanada at 1230 Hrs.
Sh. R.K. Pachnanda, DG, NDRF has appreciated the humanitarian action undertaken by the NDRF Wives Welfare Association. Mrs Nita Pachnanda, President NDRF Wife Welfare Association stated that it will be very helpful to poor and needy people in the time of winter season.
